There has been a lot of discussion surrounding video resumes in the press over the last few months. One of the main concerns cited has been the potential to discriminate. We'd like to address that head on:

Employers do not conduct interviews in a confessional. Management relies on their staff to hire the most qualified candidates available to them and comply with all EEOC regulations and related policies. Because companies must follow those policies, we do NOT believe that a video resume will encourage discrimination.

Here's What We've Found So Far:   Here's a sample VINTRO:
In a HireMeNow.com research study, of the 475 job seekers surveyed, only 1% are concerned that a video resume will encourage discrimination. Click here to see our full press release.

In another HireMeNow.com research study, we found that 4 out of 5 hiring managers want to see a video resume. Click here to see our full press release.

Both employers and job seekers recognize that there are a lot of advantages to video resumes. For hiring managers, video resumes save a lot of time and money by speeding up the hiring process. For job seekers, knowing that an employer wants to meet with them after viewing their video resume offers comfort that they are not going to waste time and money -- they've made the first cut.

There are right ways and wrong ways to create a video resume, or, as we call it, a VINTRO™ (short for video introduction). The ones employers want to see are approximately one minute or less in duration and give the answer to the typical first interview question: 'Tell me a bit about yourself and why we should hire you.'
